Can we ever get our banks back now? China and Japan move in.?

with one comment

Not only are we in debt to the Far East – they are taking over our banks.

Mitsubishi Finance, Nomura Japan, and China Investment Corporation are all moving in on America’s banking sector after the crisis of last week.

Republicans have got us into a complete mess.

Can we ever get our banks back now.?.

should i take a gap year?

with one comment

i was predicted BCCc, though i had bbcc in AS level (the teachers hated me), before i sent my UCAS and applied to KENT uni (max of 3.5 sub, 320 points) to do accounting and finance and for my insurance queen mary to do maths and accounting and finance (max 3 sub, 280 points)

i chose them because they are pretty good in the league table (top 30 in accounting and finance league on times and independent web)

however my january was a success and confident of getting either AABc or ABBc for my a level and thinking of taking a gap year and apply to LSE, City, Birmingham, Reading and Nottingham universities for 2010 entry to do [accounting and finance] or [banking and inter finance] or [finance and investment banking] or [accounting and economics]

what do you think i should do? go to uni on sept or take a gap year
and
what do you think of my chances of getting to those uni if ive taken a gap year?

what do you think i should do?

Is the HSBC bank good for investing?

with one comment

We’re going to be moving countries in the next year or so and plan to move our finances to the HSBC as they will move all financials to almost anywhere in the world.

Is the HSBC generally a pretty good bank to seek financial investment advice through?

Which project should X invest in? And what will its new cost of equity be?

with one comment

X is an all equity financed firm with a market value of £21m and a beta of 1.1. X is presently considering opportunities. Project A and project B, both which require investment of £5m. With respect to both of these projects the returns will be received in perpetuity.

A
beta = 0.7
expected return net of corporation tax = 16%.

B
beta = 0.4
expected return net of corporation tax = 11%.

Financing of the project will be obtained by raising new risk free debt.

Return on the market portfolio is given as 18% and return on the risk free security = 8%. Assume that the capital market is in equilibrium. Corporation tax = 35%.

I want to pay my team commission.How does it work %agewise.Are there any websites with guidelines/Rules??

with one comment

We charge €50/hr for our services. I own the equipment and have rented a building etc. Traditionally in our business its every man for himself but that gets nowhere. I want to form a high performance team who are hungry to be the best in the region and to do that I need finance to invest.My idea is commssion based payment to finance investment thereby avoiding "I own this" etc.The guys money will be reinvested in the business and used to expand our facility thereby making it a revenue centre.Win Win.???? or??
