i bought a car paid with debit card for the full amount, the money came from a loan company, as the car finance where i bought car was expensive, its all in my name but finance in a relatives name, i just pay the loan off by derect debit in his bank, i want a log book loan will the log book company know if thecar is on finance.

Advice on car finance…?
I bought a vauxhall tigra last week using car finance.
Whilst sitting in the forecourt an employee of the car company drove into the car. There didnt appear to eb any damage to the car,so I drove home.
However, I have had a mechanic look over the car and there are several repairs that need to be carried out on the car, one or two appear to be the result of the employee hitting my car. I have phoned the car salesman regarding the repairs and he said that if I bring the car in "he will see what he can do". If he does not carry out the necessary repairs on the car, where do i stand with regards to telling them to take the car back and claiming back any money I have already paid? I have only had the car 7 days and am taking it to the garage tomorrow morning.
I would just like to know where I stand in regards to this. Any help would be appreciated.
I have contacted the garage to fix the repairs caused by the guy hitting it. There are a few other problems with he car tho, which are nothing to do with him hitting the car, such as a minor oil leak and a tyre which has tread which is borderline legal and no spare tyre.
I got a 30 day warranty with the car, but want to know if they refuse to repair the other repairs, am I within my rights to hand the car back, or not?
Would it be different if my hubby took a loan from the bank as opposed to car finance from dealer?
I asked a question a few days ago concerning wether the car registration document could be in my name if the car finance was in my husbands name, generally most people thought it wouldnt be allowed. I wondered if it would apply to a straightforward bank loan, you can say its for a car or you can say its for house improvemants etc..but if you were honest and said it was for a car, would the reg doc have to be in my hubbys name then also?
No Nickthesurfer, it will be his car but for business/insurance reasons it has to be registered in my name. It is all for his benefit not mine.Im a very giving thoughtful wife!!!!!!
