Does Cameron’s new year message lack ‘insight and morality’?
In a hard hitting new year’s message to the Conservative Party on Friday, GMB union general secretary Paul Kenny condemned David Cameron for letting the people of Britain down after the Tory leader accused new Labour of having "lost its moral compass."

However, Mr Kenny said that Mr Cameron had a lack of a clear-sighted analysis of where Britain’s problems stem from.
"David Cameron is wrong that private households being over-borrowed is the cause of our economic problems," he said.
"He utterly fails to recognise that most of the excess borrowing has been undertaken by banks, private equity companies and hedge funds and not by households and non-financial companies.
"He also fails to recognise the massive damage to the economy caused by speculation in oil and commodities during 2008.
"Why does David Cameron not ask his shadow cabinet members, who moonlight in the City as well as doing their day jobs? They will put him right on this. The UK can not afford to elect a government whose leader seems not to understand the dynamics of contemporary finance capitalism and the utter need to rein it in to the benefit of all of us. GMB members are braced for more bad news when most businesses reopen on Monday Jan 5."
Raising finance?
I’d like to raise finance for a media venture? How do I find angel investors or is it better approaching private equity companies – and would they be looking for controlling interest in the company?
